Sept. 2nd to 4th

Everyone should plan on going to The Decatur Book Festival!  It’s one of the largest in the U.S.A. and is full of activities for familiies – including puppet shows, storytelling, and best of all – cheap, cheap books. It’s free to attend has food trucks as well as great places to eat! It runs all day Saturday and all afternoon Sunday and there is something going on for kids and grownups all through the schedule. You can pick up the entire schedule at most of the libraries and, since it is sponsored by the AJC, there was a copy in the Sunday paper last week. Also, for a weird weekend, there is Dragon Con downtown with a very complex line up, including William Shatner and Gillian Anderson. http://www.accessatlanta.com/news/events/conferences/16-chances-get-glimpse-stars-dragon-con/nsN6z/

Also next weekend is the Yellow Daisy Festival at Stone Mountain and there will be funnel cakes.
