Door Letter Door Letter Door Letter

Week of 3/12 to 3/16

With the wind advisory, we’ll put off the marshmallow roasting till a calm weather day, probably Thursday. Remember to send jackets to school this week, since the temperature goes up and down daily. We are beginning the door bell/camera work this week and the cost is high. We are not asking for the parents to support a fundraiser this year, but we do expect everyone that shops at Publix or Kroger to link their purchases to us. If you use digital coupons with Kroger, you already have an account. Then, it is easy to link to us. The donations from Kroger this year have been lower than ever and it appears that only four families have linked their card to us. Please do this ASAP as those checks from Kroger pay for things like the door security and for math practice books.

Here’s the link: Kroger

Monday—A relatively normal day. Ashwaq and Fatuma are back today and everything will run like clockwork. If we go outside after lunch, we’ll do some work on our snake-sculptures to get ready for Friday’s luncheon.

Tuesday—In the morning, the Oaks will go to a SciFest Event at UGA’s Extension Agency in Morrow: Beehives and Bugs. Gwinnett  kids will go to the library in Lilburn after lunch.

Wednesday—Tour Day all day. No bus today. Dramakids at 4:00.

Thursday—Spanish today and maybe after lunch we’ll go roast marshmallows at Henderson Park. Also, we’ll finish up the snake painting today.

Friday—We wear green and celebrate St. Pat’s day at O’Charlie’s over on Northlake Parkway. We’ll take the bus and some cars. The cost will be $7 per child.

LAST WEEK FOR THE FOOD DRIVE. WE HAVE ALMOST FILLED THE BOX AT THE LIBRARY!!
