Hello Willow parents!
We’ve gotten through our second week of school and the kids are LOVING it! They are so excited to be in class everyday, and can’t wait for what we learn. This week we have gone over a few worded math problems and I was surprised to see how many of them quickly picked it up. They also got the chance to make their own math problems and loved every second of it. We’ve worked on sight words, and played a sight word bingo, and it is working wonders for the words they just can’t seem to remember. We have finally gotten our calendar up and everyone had a helping hand in that. Plus, we celebrated a birthday, started our Spanish class, and got a new student this week! How exciting! The willows are a bright bunch, and they never cease to amaze me!
We’ve been talking about living and non-living things, so this upcoming week for science we will be planting some seeds in the classroom to see how they grow! The kids are also excited about the behavioral beads we’ve gotten for the class. If they get it half filled by winter break, we will have a party!
Anyway, if you have any questions about your child in particular, please don’t hesitate to email me! Thank you all for all of the support and love you show our class!
