So much fun to get ready for the feast! And all the poetry and practicing and art is so festive that the holidays feel very close. This fall has flown by. Please mark the list so we know what everyone is bringing to the potluck. Kingfisher is providing the drinks and paper goods. A letter is coming out about the feast with this door letter. I’m putting it on the e-mail and also a hard copy in your mailboxes.

Monday—Today is a regular day and recess will take place around lunchtime with Mr. Smith and later with Mr. Q.

Thursday—Art in the afternoon for the Owls and the Hummers. Today we’ll be working on centerpieces for your Thanksgiving table!

Friday—The Feast begins at 11:30 and lasts until around 1:15. You can take your child from there or let them stay for the rest of the day. We are still doing afterschool until 5:00 p.m. Debbie will take the bus children early, though, probably around 2:30. No Yoga today.

Moms—start getting ready for Madeline’s Christmas. Kingfisher girls always go to see this at Horizon Theatre in Little Five Points and afterward we go and have tea at Dr. Bombay’s. I’m still waiting on pricing and dates but should know by the end of the day today (Monday the 14th).
