A simple week moving into our second school month. October is always the most gorgeous weather, so we’ll be doing some outdoor field trips this month. Don’t forget to check the calendar on our website—I’m updating it this morning for the October events. Should be ready around 1:00. http://kingfisheracademy.org/parents/calendar
Monday—Falcons have Science today at 1:30 and the Hummingbirds have Art with Miss Brigit at that time, as well.
Tuesday—8:30 trip to Cofer Park to play before a busy day. Spanish class is scheduled for today around 11:00 to 1:00. Everyone has a blue folder to bring back and forth to Spanish, so be sure your student has his/her folder on Tuesdays.
Mr. Smith is the homeroom teacher for the Owls on Tuesdays. Owls have science at 10:30 today.
The Falcons go to the library on Tuesday afternoons.
Wednesday—is the library day for the Owls. The Hummingbirds have science today and we are going to ACE Hardware to look at their plant area and maybe buy a few plants to make a window garden—we didn’t have time to do that last week because the 1st Aid class took a bit longer than we scheduled for. Falcons have science today from 11:00 to 12:00.
Thursday—is Art Day for the Falcons from 12:30 TO 1:30. Science for the Owls will be today and we’re going to begin talking about plants and what they need to survive and which biomes are perfect for which plants. Hummingbirds go to the library today.
Friday—Hot Lunch today—Macaroni and Cheese with hotdogs; Broccoli; Pear Slices
